Tel Aviv University is committed to improving and advancing teaching, 

while integrating learning technologies and digital learning into various curricula. 

In the academic year 2019-2020, the university administration established the Dean's Office for Innovation in Teaching and Learning, headed by Prof. Liat Kishon-Rabin, 

as a strategic academic arm of the university, aiming to lead the university towards changes in teaching and learning, 

to align with the information revolution era we are in, and the expected systemic changes in the education market. 

In recent years, the Dean's Office has developed several MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) courses 

and dozens of courses taught as an integral part of students' academic curriculum, across various faculties and content areas. 

The TAU OUT unit from the Dean's Office for Innovation in Learning and Teaching allows additional audiences who are not students, 

to broaden horizons and develop academic skills through online courses open to the general public:

Tel Aviv University allows you to experience academic learning before being admitted to the university, 

candidates can be accepted for studies based on their academic learning abilities and without a psychometric exam! 

An innovative admission track allows candidates to study courses in their free time, 

take exams at the university and use the score as a substitute for the psychometric exam, or as an addition to the compatibility score or for credit.

For high school students

As part of the Academic City program, 9th-12th grade students learn academic courses in class throughout the year. 

At the end of the year, students take the academic exam at the university, just like regular students, and accumulate academic credit. 

The program team accompanies teachers and students throughout the school year.
